Auto Add an Open Shift
When deviating the time for a shift, you can now allow Kimedics to automatically add an additional shift to the schedule to make up the remaining time.
If you are a Manager User who has access to the organization set up, you have the ability to choose if you would like for Kimedics to automatically add open shifts for any shift that deviates from staffing model requirements.
- Selecting 'Yes' will automatically add a new open shift for missing time/requirements
- Selecting 'No' will leave your schedule as is
When selecting 'YES' these are a few examples of when a shift would be automatically added
- If there is a 7a-7p shift that is scheduled for 7a-5p (early end time), then a new UNASSIGNED/OPEN shift for 5p-7p will be added
- If there is a 7a-7p shift that is scheduled for 9a-7p (late start time), then a new UNASSIGNED/OPEN shift for 7a-9a will be added
- If there is a 7a-7p shift that is scheduled for 9a-5p (late start time and early end), then a new UNASSIGNED/OPEN shift for 7a-9a AND 5p-7p will be added
If 'Yes' is selected, then a warning modal will pop up before an Unassigned Shift is added to cover the missing time/requirements to confirm that a new shift needs to be added.
All of this applies for the schedule/calendar view, scheduler/provider view, and scheduler/shift view.
